Phenology Tagger
Phenology Tagger is a browser-based tool for iNaturalist users who
need to review plant observations and record plant life-cycle
information.
What it does
The app presents matching iNaturalist observations one at a time so
you can add a phenology annotation. The available categories include
flowering, fruiting, budding, and no evidence of flowering.
Who it is for
It is intended for naturalists, researchers, educators, and citizen
scientists who use iNaturalist observations to document seasonal
changes in plants.
How it works
- Connect with a personal iNaturalist API token.
- Choose the observation scope and location filters.
- Review each plant observation and select its phenology status.
- Save the annotation back to iNaturalist or skip the observation.
JavaScript is required for the interactive tagger. Your personal
token is used in the browser to communicate with iNaturalist and is
not sent to this app's server.
